My setup, suitable for a 27"-48" Jungle Carpet Python
Enclosure:
  • 36"x18"x18" glass enclosure with screen top and locks
  • Soil substrate [by Scott's] topped with orchid potting mix (has some bark)
Heating &Lighting:
  • 100W incandescent basking bulb for daytime
  • 70W incandescent blacklight reptile bulb on day/night
  • 18" Repta-Sun fluorescent 5.0 UVB bulb
Furniture & Decorations:
  • Two large, sturdy live plants, three smaller, misc. varieties
  • Moss sheet Corkbark half-log & a hide Cockatiel-sized apple wood (or manzanita?) perch
  • Two sterilized branches from the forest
  • Parakeet nest box[for hiding high in the enclosure]
  • Cat litterbox of water under basking lamp
